Johns Creek's premier bagel shop and deli, Essex Bagels recognizes that while bagels are still a breakfast
staple, many folks enjoy them for snacks and dessert as well. Essex Bagels offers something to suit every taste.
All bagels are baked fresh daily.
For the traditional palate - plain, everything, whole wheat, egg, sesame, salt, garlic, onion, poppy,
pumpernickel and marble rye are staples.
For those with a sweet tooth, offerings include blueberry, chocolate chip and cinnamon raisin bagels. There are
also muffins, coffee cake, brownies and cookies.
Specialty bagels are varied and delicious. Particularly popular are the Super Cinnamon - a cinnamon raisin bagel
with a sugar/cinnamon crust; the salt stick and bialys - true NY/NJ Bagel Shop traditions; as well as jalapeno
cheddar, cheddar, sun-dried tomato, cranberry, energy and asiago.
Essex Bagels & Deli offers all your favorite “shmears” – including lox spread,
veggie, scallion, olive & pimento, horseradish bacon, blueberry, strawberry, chocolate chip and cinnamon raisin walnut.
Seasonal creations such as pumpkin spice rotate on the menu throughout the year.

Great Lunch Spot with Deli sandwiches, Specialty sandwiches, Wraps, Burgers and Salads
For lunch, guests enjoy Essex's burgers, wraps, deli sandwiches, salads and specialty sandwiches.
Specialty sandwiches range from the classic Patty Melt and Tuna Melt to the hefty Triple Decker Club and Grilled
Veggie to the “Montclair”, a combo of apricot glazed chicken, brie, romaine and zesty apricot jelly on multi-grain
bread. This writer’s favorite is the “Hillside”, a combo of corned beef, pastrami and chopped liver on rye.
Essex is noted for having the best Reuben in town. The Jersey Reuben is loaded with your choice of corned beef,
pastrami or turkey, layered with kraut, melted Swiss cheese and Russian dressing, and served on lightly grilled rye.
Steaming rather than grilling the meat is the key to this moist, juicy and flavorful delight.
Essex Deli sandwiches come piled high with all your favorite meats, including hot corned beef, hot pastrami and roast beef.
Fresh salads like tuna salad, egg salad and chopped liver are also available. The "Jersey Dawg" - a quarter pound Kosher
dog topped with mustard, potatoes, onions and peppers - is a crowd pleasing favorite.
Together with potato salad, orzo salad, potato knish, fries or other side, an Essex lunch will have you completely
satisfied no matter where you are from. Need an early lunch? No problem. Lunch is served all day
long at Essex Bagels & Deli.
Breakfast - served all day
Essex opens early – 6 AM - every day. But for you late-risers - don’t worry breakfast is served all day too.
Start your day with a hot, made-to-order breakfast. Relax and enjoy hot breakfast sandwiches, breakfast plates,
breakfast burritos, pancakes and French toast. True to the tradition of New York / New Jersey Delis, Essex Bagels
and Deli also serves Nova Lox and Whitefish Salad platters.

Essex Bagels & Deli caters both corporate and private events, breakfast and lunch, and parties. For breakfast
there are bagel trays, continental trays and nova lox trays. For lunch choose from classic box lunch, salad box and
soup & sandwich box. Four different party trays are available: traditional sandwich tray, deli meat tray,
salad tray, and mini-chicken tender bites.
